Roller Skates, Spandex, and Knitting Needles

Have you ever copied down the hours spent in your day onto paper? It is interesting to look back at every precious minute and see how you spent your time. Of course there is the obligatory hours of work. Those aren’t as interesting but it’s those extracurricular minutes that speak the loudest.

Who you are is often defined by how you spend your time.

We know that it shows others the things we enjoy, but it also shows them the things to which we give priority. If you are one who has a regular yoga practice, you are telling others that exercise and peace of mind are important to you. If you read your Bible everyday, you are speaking much of your desire to understand God’s word and will for your life. These are two of mine that I want to continually pursue.

What do you like to do with your extra time? Or with whom do you spend it? What does this tell you about yourself?
