A while back I wrote about redeeming a culture that has so often been represented in a shallow and immature fashion. For me, that means creating yoga experiences that also challenge and develop our spiritual growth with Christ. It means creating an atmosphere that reflects beauty in an original sort of way.
Innovation can be a controversial. Many people do not like change. But it is the future. Today, I want to highlight a band that is innovating an area of Christian culture: Christian rock.
Abandon Kansas is a group of guys who started out in Wichita KS and its surrounding small towns. They pushed past the cookie cutter sound of Christian music to create something truly original. Their talent was been polished throughout the years and they now sound phenomenal. They went from writing songs in small town Kansas to catching the eye of Gotee Records. And since then their craft has been spreading like wildfire.
